PEP19 has completed three human clinical trials and is labeled as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) in the U.S.
PEP19 is a 10-amino-acid peptide that targets visceral fat and hyperglycemia by modulating the peripheral CB1 receptor in white adipose tissue. It is formulated as a 10 mg oral capsule.
Clinical trials showed a 17% reduction in visceral fat and a 6% reduction in HbA1c, with no adverse effects or loss of lean mass.
PEP19 RMH capsules are available through Heliox Health, the official distributor for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
PEP44 is a Antimicrobial peptide (AMP) currently in development for oncology, microbiology, and agri-tech applications, while PEP51 is currently in the discovery stage.
